Off-Time with Rob

Rob enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. He’s also an old school video game and arcade nut. He likes listening to music, typically from the 80s. Additionally, he spends time learning his trade as a home inspector. He is often found putting in extra time reading, watching videos, and learning from others.

Why the name royal diamond?

“First I had a couple of variations of the names Royal Property Inspections and Diamond in the Rough Inspections. But those names seemed to be too long or not attention getters. And after much thought I combined the two into what is now Royal Diamond Property Inspections. To be Royal is being top notch or high ranking. And a diamond is well transparent, flawless, and a precious gem. So we will work to be a high ranking transparent property inspector that you will remember for years to come.”

Rob’s Background

Everyone has to start somewhere. I may not have years of experience in the construction field or in real estate marketing. But what I do have is an ability to look for and report deficiencies or defects that I learned to look for through the courses at both AHIT and InterNACHI. If you are looking for an honest, up front, no bones about it, Home Inspector I am your guy.

I started a computer one to one training business years ago. I knew I had the knowledge to fluently show my customers how to operate a computer. And I had to start somewhere as well. After a couple of years that one to one training grew into a PC repair business. And I was honest, up front and had a no bones about it attitude then. It was about 2015 when I decided to somewhat give up on the PC Repair business.

I could no longer compete against the ever so rapidly growing smart device technology and usage. And so I started searching for a new career, one that I believe I would be good at. I took a course at a local private college for Medical Coding and Billing that didn’t work out as I had planned. Then I looked in the field of Home Inspections and I believe this is it.

Moisture Meter – You’ll want to make sure that there isn’t any moisture or accumulated mold anywhere in your home. Fortunately, our moisture meter is able to detect the presence of any moisture, thereby making it easy to determine if the problem is small or big.
